I was watching a rerun of How I Met Your Mother where Lily was trying to seduce Marshall and Ted was right there in the room. It just gave me the laughs and I immediately thought about these three. I own, not HIMYM nor LoK, only a wonderful imagination.
Boundaries
Mako sat in front of Korra on the small round table reading his paper. He was getting a little uneasy since the girl was boldly staring at him and nothing else for the last 10 minutes.
Korra, on the other hand, was feeling riotous today. She had come here to the boys' apartment for one specific purpose – to annoy Mako. From how Mako's brows were furrowing and a nerve visibly popping on his temple, she could safely say she was succeeding.
It started off that way, but after a while, Mako would be able to completely shun Korra and proceed to reading his blasted newspaper. But Korra had more tricks up her sleeve. She smirked when Mako almost jumped off of his seat and glared daggers at her. She had deliberately brushed her foot up and down his leg.
The glaring and the smirking ensued. And finally, Korra started, "You know, today is just too hot."
Mako went back to his newspaper and opened it quite loudly determined to send his message to the young girl – Shut up and leave me alone.
"It's too hot. Even for clothes." The girl continued and tapped her finger on the table. "Like my parka."
Mako spared her a glance as she took her parka off her waist and threw it on the couch. He saw her muscles through her form fitting shirt. Agni.
"And my boots." Said items flew in the air and landed near the door.
Knowing full well that she had Mako's undivided attention, the Avatar continued. "Or bindings."
She saw him gulp. "Oh yeah, I'm not wearing any." She mentioned it like it was no big deal.
Mako banged the newspaper on the table and stood up, toppling his chair in the process. He quickly leaned forward across the table to his target – Korra's inviting mouth.
But before any action could ensue, Bolin's voice rang out from the couch.
"GUYS! BOUNDARIES!" He threw Korra's parka back towards them. Pabu snickered and looked at the two as if he wanted to say, Shame on you two.
Bolin stood up from the couch grumbling to himself heading towards his room. "It's bad enough that I hear you guys every time. The walls aren't that thick, you know?"
Mako and Korra pouted, their faces different shades of pink.
Tch. So much for my afternoon action. Mako sat back down and glared at his girlfriend. She snickered. He smiled.
Who cares about boundaries, they'll just have to wait until Bolin's snores filled the room. That – or – they'd kick him out of the apartment for good.
END.
I had this on my mind for a whole week! I've been busy with my new work that I haven't been able to write anything!
