"You don't get it do you?!"
"What's there to get?"
"I did this for you! I hid my magic so you didn't have to be reminded of all that happened."
"wha- how do you know about that?"
"Peter told me."
"Peter had no right to tell you that!"
"You're unbelievable."
"You're unbelievable, keeping something so big from me."
"Me? You know what, Edmund, I'm not doing this. I'm not going to sit here and fight with you. I hid my magic from you because of reasons I can't even begin to explain. If you can't accept that reason, then fine. Goodbye."
"Hermione wait!"
"And just like that, she was gone. I don't get it, we used to tell each other everything, and now, I feel like I don't even know her." Edmund explained.
"Hermione, has been through a lot. I'd just give it time." Harry Potter said.
"But what has she gone through! I told her everything about Narnia, and being king."
"I know, but you had a reason for not telling her about the white witch….."
"Did Peter tell everyone about that!" He screeched.
The boy-who-lived just chuckled.
"Harry, what happened to her? Please! I need to know." Edmund begged.
Harry sighed and sat down on his couch. After Hermione left, Edmund walked over to Harry and Ginny's flat.
"In our world, the wizarding world, there was an evil man that called himself, Lord Voldemort. He brought chaos and torture to every wizard that wasn't pureblooded. It was kind of ironic, because Voldemort himself was a half-blood."
"Wait, what is a 'pureblood'?
"A pureblood is a wizard whose parents are both wizards. They're usually very wealthy people. A halfblood is a wizard born from a muggleborn and pureblood, or a muggle and pureblood, which I am. Then there is a muggleborn, whose parents don't have any magic in them. They used to be hated by purebloods to the point where they were considered filth. Hermione is a muggleborn, but she is not filthy, mind you." Harry explained.
"So to continue the story, Voldemort started a war. To sum up the story, we didn't just lose Fred, Tonk, Remus, Lavender, Dobby, and Percy in the war, Hermione lost her parents. Months after the war was won by the light, Hermione stopped doing magic. She moved to muggle London, and met you. I don't think I've seen her that happy in a very long time."
Edmund just sat there. He didn't know what to say, or what to think. But he couldn't help the small smile that started to tug at his lips.
"She loves you Edmund. Yes, she hid her magic. Not because she was scared of what you would say, but because she was scared of what you might do. When Peter told us about the white witch, Hermione was uncertain about telling you, scared you would leave her. You have to understand that she hasn't done magic in almost 3 years. She hasn't even thought about it."
"Wait, she loves me?"
"Of course! You're all she talks about."
"I need to see her." He cried standing up to grab his jacket.
"And tell her what?"
"That I love her too of course!"
And with that, Edmund raced out of the building and down the hall to 3B. He knocked on the door knowing she would be the one to answer.
"Hel- Edmund?" Hermione widened her eyes.
"I love you. I love you so much and I'm so sorry I got mad. Please, please forgive me."
Hermione smiled and cried," Of course I can forgive you. You had every right to be mad, because I should have told you sooner. I'm sorry." She pulled him in for a hug. He wrapped his arms around her and held her very close. He really missed her lavender scent.
"I love you too Edmund."
I hope everyone likes this story. If there is anything that I should change, I would really like some feed back.
