Disclaimer: I don't own the Lion King characters. (I hope you can figure that out on your own)

This poem is about Vitani's life in the outlands, and is written in a poetry form called a Ghazal, which involves repeating certain lines. I learned it in a class and really wanted to try out the form, so I hope you like it and please please REVIEW!

Vitanis' Ghazal

Cub I might be, but my eyes have seen much.

Here dust buries bleached bones under the sun.

This is my world and I welcome you to it.

For breakfast some termites that crawled into my bed.

I play tag with mirages of water and food.

Cub I might be, but my eyes have seen much.

Each unchecked breeze blasts more sand in my coat.

My paw pads they bleed from fighting on rock.

This is my world and I welcome you to it.

One boney brother who constantly taunts.

Though I easily best him in any fair fight.

Cub I might be, but my eyes have seen much.

Training each day until my muscles give out.

I limp in at night, my exhausted eyes close.

This is my world and I welcome you to it.

Happy sleeping between my brothers and mom,

I know this is home; it is where I belong.

Cub I might be, but my eyes have seen much.

This is my world and I welcome you to it.

That's it! Thanks and please REVIEW!
