Storm clouds filled in fluidly. Like ink leaving the tip of your pen. Creativity flowed over Newport Beach just as the ink would over a piece of paper.
"It's over, He spoke gently to her, placing a towel in a laundry hamper. "What? Over?" Marissa asked him quickly.
Ryan's jaw clenched as he eyed her warily. "We've been through the hardest part of our relationship already!" Marissa pleaded. She advanced a few paces towards him, looking deep into his eyes. He rolled his shoulder back turning away from her begging and pleading.
"No matter how much I've adjusted myself to here, we are still from two different worlds." He told her. Twisting his upper half, he turned to look at her. Her face was red, tears flowing easily down it. "Who are you?" She choked. His jaw clenched once again. "I'm not whoever you want me to be anymore." He told her, his words simple and his voice plain.
Marissa choked on her words for a few moments. No noise came out except the sputtering a car makes when it gets caught in the woods. "I can't believe you!" She shouted to him quickly. Her voice cracked at the last word. With a turn of her heel she stormed quickly away from the pool house. The rain doused her clothing as she walked into it. Her clothes hung on her skin and bones figure. "I can't believe him." She sobbed, tears mixing with rain. "I don't want to" she spoke numbly, standing in the rain. She stared at the pool house for few moments.
