"They're coming!" Piper yelled out as she received a text from Percy Jackson, one of their dear friend and husband to their pregnant friend Annabeth. The two were on their way back from the doctors, and hopefully on their way to reveal the gender to their friends.

Piper had everyone in front of the door, Leo, Jason, Frank, Hazel, Grover, Thalia, even Nico was there- everyone, ready to surprise the couple with a banner above them that read 'Boy or Girl?'.

They all waited for a few minutes, smiles plastered onto their faces, ready to demand the gender. But no one opened the door, Piper texted Percy, 'Where are you!?' In which Percy responded 'Stuck in traffic- and why are you texting me while I'm driving?'

'Why are you answering my text if you're driving?' Piper put her phone away, "Bad news, they're stuck in traffic, good news, we have a little bit of time to kill before they come."

Leo groaned flopping onto the couch, turning on the television, everyone following him into the living room.

After a few minutes of silence, Leo spoke up. "Five dollars it's a boy."

Thalia raised her eyebrow, "you seriously want to bet, Valdez?"

Leo pulled his wallet out, pulling five dollars out and smacking it onto the coffee table, then looked at Thalia, just daring her to pull out a five dollar bill.

Thalia did so aggressively, "it's a girl."

"Anyone else want to bet?" Leo and Thalia looked at the others.

Jason sighed and put a five into the pile, "girl."

Slowly the pile began to grow with everyone putting their fives in, only Leo and Grover having their money for a boy.

Leo grinned as the door opened, revealing Percy and Annabeth. Piper mentally cursed, they were all supposed to surprise them at the door.

Annabeth looked at the banner and then the pile of money, "are you guys betting what gender my baby is?"

"Yes! Now tell us or I'll lose five bucks!" Leo yelled out eagerly.

Percy walked up next to his wife, putting his arm on her shoulders and his other hand on her belly, he had a wide smile as he looked at his wife and back at his friends. "It's a boy!"

"YES!"
