My first story, hope you like it.

Sadly I don't own Loonatics Unleashed it belongs to Warner Bros.

Shooting Star

The Loonatics arrived back at there HQ quite late at night after a long day of training with the occasional robbery.

'I told you we could do it that baddie was the easiest we have ever faced!' Duck said grinning

'You-mean-us-not-you-because-I-didn't- see-you-out-there-fighting-much-or-am-i-wrong-Tech-what-do-you-think?' Rev asked looking across to Tech

'I must say I don't agree at all Rev I think Duck is really good maybe he should fight all the baddies for us, he seems to be good!' Tech said grinning

'Well I…I mean it would be too unfair to Ace, right Ace' when the rabbit didn't respond the mallard continued to despair

'Right chief… ACE!'

'Why can't it just be easy for me' Lexi thought sadly and then looked over at him sitting meditating, relaxing. Completely unaware that she was staring at him, 'but he's the leader, I couldn't…we couldn't' she thought then seeing Tech's curious gaze, she blasted up her music player and headed into the kitchen. Ace opened his eyes slightly to see Lexi exiting the main room he sighed and glanced around at the rest of his team mates, he was trying to focus on his meditation but his thoughts were on her… 'Concentrate Ace you can't start slacking, she's your right hand. It's not possible' he told himself firmly. It didn't help because as soon as Lexi entered the room again Ace couldn't help but watch her moving with the music; twisting and turning… tempting him. 'Maybe I should go and talk to her' he thought 'since I can't seem to meditate' as he watched her move around the room dancing to the music. He paused hesitating whether to follow her or not…

Lexi opened up the large window at the end of the corridor and looked out across the sleeping city, all the lights were gently lit making it look so peaceful. She sighed and closed her eyes

'nice view, eh' Lexi startled opened her eyes again to see Ace standing next to her, also gazing out of the window smiling.

'Yeah, I wish it could always be so nice'

'But that would make our lives boring' Ace replied glancing at her, just then a shooting star raced across the sky

'Wow Ace, isn't that beautiful' Lexi whispered 'now we get to make a wish' she continued

'It's now or never' Ace thought watching her smiling; happy, did he want to ruin that.

Lexi looked across at Ace 'I've made my wish, what about you?' she then nudged him on the arm playfully

'Go on' a voice in Ace's head seemed to whisper

Ace paused silent, she too went quiet. 'What's wrong?' she asked watching him

'I'm just thinking of what I'm gonna wish for' he said jokily. Lexi grinned and then listened to something 'I guess that's dinner, well I'll go and eat before Slam gets there'

'Go for it' Ace thought in his head.

Lexi went to move away but Ace grabbed her hand, and pulled her round to face him eye to eye 'Ace, what's wro-'she didn't get to finish her sentence because just then he pulled her to him and kissed her so suddenly that she had to stop herself from slapping him; instead she moved her hand to the back of his neck and pulled him even closer as his hand tightened around her waist. After what seemed like ages they pulled apart so slowly and delicately. To Ace's relief she smiled, blushing before she rested her head on his shoulder 'now it was perfect, dinner could wait' she thought

Ace leant to her ear and whispered 'there now I've made my wish' before resting his head on top of hers

'Yes, life was perfect no matter the risks' they both thought together as the moon shone gently down on them.
