It had been in secret for a while. How could the avengers expect Thor to be so calm and collected when his own brother was being hunted down? But they did and they were oblivious to how he felt. The pain he went through those first weeks, when Loki was still loose and the world was burning around him. But they didn't know and they wouldn't understand, at least it was expected of them, that they wouldn't. For, it was only human.

"You seem unsettled brother." Loki's sultry voice vibrated against the golden god's chest as they dozed in a dark bedroom in the Avenger's tower.

"I only worry, what shall we do when my friends learn of our coupling?"

"Do you feel shame?"

"You know I cannot. I am at peace when I am with you, I would have it no other way."

"Then let it be, what is to come will pass by."

Every day was harder than the next for Thor. He felt as though the sun was blazing in his chest, but he could not let it out. The love he felt for his brother was in need of being spread, but he feared that his friends could never understand.

"You've never been a good liar, even your brother mentioned it before in one of our lovely get to gathers." Thor flinched at the mention of his lover and understanding flooded into Tony's face as he leaned over the counter of the kitchen. "So it is about your bro isn't it? Nothing we can't fix up I bet."

"It is of no concern of yours man of iron."

Holding up his arms in mock defeat, "Hey hey, I don't mean to offend. I'm just sayin' if that son o a bitch has done anything I'm sure Clint would love to help set him right."

"I will say this once more and it would do you well to listen, It is of none of your mortal concern."

But it was fated for that day to happen, but the two brothers hoped it would be much later than what concluded. Of course wishes are not always granted to those that need it.

"You are no longer welcome on this world. If we find any trace of you or your twisted relationship, no matter how small it is, we will be forced to take action. And you do not want to be on the opposing side of those who you so easily betray." Silence was met at Fury's words. What more could the now grim god say when he was met with the accusing eyes of the team he once belonged to, for even though his greatest secret had been unveiled he could not feel anything but freedom. Under the eyes of scrutiny, he met the hand of his brother and knew that he made the right decision. For what matters in life more than family?
