Contradictory

He played with his sitar absently.

He was bored.

He got up, walked to where he would quietly think about life; that is, if he ever had one from the start.

He went inside his room. Out the window, he saw a figure.

It was Axel. He looked kinda down.

So Demyx decided to play a little tune for him.

He lost Roxas didn't he? Don't tell anyone, but he was there when they were talking for the last time.

'It's not like anyone would miss me, anyway.'

'That's not true! I would... miss you.'

For a moment, Demyx swore he saw a tear out of the corner of Axel's eye.

Then he watched in his hiding spot, as Roxas turned away and ran off, to go confront this impsotor he was hearing so much about.

He wasn't stupid.

He knew for a fact that they weren't going to have their hearts back.

That didn't mean he didn't stop hoping.

He didn't want to dissapear.

As his fingers flew lightly on the strings, playing a soft tune, he began to sing.

He didn't know where the song came from.

"Hello, hello, anybody out there?

Cause I don't hear a sound...

Alone, alone, I don't really know where the world is, cause I miss it now..."

He took a glance at Axel, who was now trying to find out where the music was coming from. Didn't he recognize his voice?

He always complained that Demyx's voice was terrible, behind his back.

Demyx let the insults slide.

It's not like he had a heart to care, after all.

But maybe, just, maybe.

Axel could get his heart back.

He saw the heppiness in Axel's eyes whenever he talked to both Roxas and Xion.

He saw the love blooming between Xion and Roxas.

He saw the satisfaction in all their eyes as they came back from watching the sunset from the clock tower.

He saw them all.

So maybe, they would have hearts after all.

One can only hope.

Okay... What?

Just so all you passing by know, I have no idea what I just wrote. In all seriousness. I'll just put this up as general...
