Dean watched as Castiels grace leaked from his eyes, and his wings were already half charred on the ground and Deans arms. It hurt, but Dean didn't let go. Dean watched Castiel's struggle with a smile on his lips. "Dean" Castiel whispered, scared and in pain. "It's all right, Cas." Dean said softly. "I know it's your time." Castiel smiled when Dean started praying to god, to take Castiel to safety and peace.

Sam has been there for a while already, but Dean hasn't got himself around to read Sam's suicide note, or to bury him. Sam looked so peaceful when he was just laying on the table, alongside with the pills that Sam hadn't taken.

It was all so silent. Dean thought of which way he would go from there. As an old friend came by. "I can take you too, Dean" Death said. Dean's smile fell as his eyes teared. "I'm not worthy of dying in the same room". Death shrugged "If that's what you want." and turned to leave. "Care for some dinner?" Dean asked before he could leave "I make pretty damn good burgers" Death turned and looked at Dean Winchester, the righteous man. "Sure." Dean got up and walked to the kitchen and prepared to cook a burger. "Do you still have it?" Death said and broke the silence. "The Ring?" Death clarified when Dean looked confused." Oh that. no." Dean looked apologetic, faced towards the beef he was cooking.

Dean served the burger to Death, and sat down to watch him eat, with a broken smile that had been on his face longer than it should, longer than the true smile he had once had.

As Death finished, Dean stood up and took the plate back to the kitchen. "Any ideas as to what i should do from now on?" Dean asked, hoping that Death had the answers." What do you want to do?" Death replied. "but I don't have time to wait for your decision." Death turned and continued "I will come if you need me, or if you die." and made a bond with this puny human, he hadn't done that in a long long time.
