Raivis stood there, in the center of flowershop, surveying the various colorful plants around him.

He was indecisive. There were so many choices here, none seeming quite right. Raivis didn't want to pick the wrong ones. These flowers weren't just for anyone, after all. They were for someone special.

They were for none other than Lilli, the apple of his eye and the object of his affection.

She was such a sweet girl. Mature, kind, so sweet even to the most intimidating people (such as Natalia and Ivan). He'd, quite simply, fallen for her.

. . .

Daises? No, those didn't seem quite right...

Roses? A cliche, no doubt. But girls always liked them, didn't they?

... No. Maybe lillies?

No, that was even more silly and cliche than the roses.

. . .

The bell on the door jingled, alerting him to her prescence before she'd stepped through the door.

He didn't know exactly why, but he dove behind one of the displays, hiding.

"Good morning, Ms. Lilli." One of the employes greeted her, smiling. "The usual?"

She smiled, tucking a few blonde strands behind her ear. "Yes."

The too-cheerful employee smiled. "As I thought, shall I throw in some Edelweiss, for your brother?"

Lilli nodded. "Big brother would enjoy that."

Raivis found himself grinning stupidly. She was always so thoughtful of others. Though he wondered...

If she was ever truly appreciated in return?

. . .

It was then that he got an idea.

Thanking whatever dieties reigned that he'd done his fair share of reading, Raivis ran to the counter to make his purchase.

Lilli smiled at the neatly arranged boquet in its vase. Vash was sure to like this.

She sighed softly. At least, she hoped so.

. . .

A gentle rap on the door alerted her to a visitor. That was odd. Vash wasn't due home for a few hours, and so far as she knew, they hadn't planned on any visitors today.

Slightly worried she'd forgotten something, she went to the door.

Opening it revealed a shaking Raivis, holding a boquet of Orchids.

"Raivis!" She said, surprised. "C-can I help you?"

"I-I got y-you th-these..." Raivis stammered, handing her the boquet. "I-it's just, y-you always think of others, s-so I thought I'd think of y-you."

Lilli felt a blush creeping into her cheeks as she gently took the boquet from his hands. "Thank you, Raivis." She replied, kissing him on the cheek.

Raivis' turn to turn bright red. "Y-you're welcome. I guess I'll g-g-"

Grabbing his hand, she asked, "Would you like to stay for tea?"

He felt that stupid grin stretch across his face as he answered, "Yes, I would."
