A/N I was feeling sad today… so I decided to write a story that kind of fits… but in a different way… if you get what I mean…? Well… never mind… I hope you like it… I bet you can guess who they're thinking about...
I'll Never Forget You
Roxas sighed.
What could he do now he'd gone…?
There was nothing he could do without thinking of him…
He would remember him forever… nothing could change that…
He looked up at the building in front of him… It would be gone soon… gone for ever… Signs were up saying that a block of flats would replace the beautiful house.
Roxas winced in mental pain; remembering the many happy times he had spent here…
He bit his lip and looked at the ground, closing his eyes. He could feel the tears welling up in his eyes. The pain was more than he had ever felt before… It was unbearable…
I didn't even get to say goodbye…
That was the worse thing… no warning… it just… happened…
Roxas screwed his eyes up… the tears streaming down his face. No noise came from him though… they were silent tears. They only came when the pain was at its greatest… so much that no noise could explain it…
I guess this is what it's like when someone close to you dies…
He wasn't the only one sad about losing him… others grieved his death as well… but Roxas couldn't help thinking:
I'll miss him the most… more than anyone…
It made him feel bad. Thinking like that… but… he couldn't help it…
Roxas felt a warm hand land on his shoulder. He turned around. It was Demyx. He should have known he'd come here… He'd been his best friend after all…
Roxas wiped his eyes; only for them to fill up again when he saw that Demyx, to had been crying. His eyes were all swollen and red.
"H-he's… gone…" Demyx whispered, downcast. "He's actually… gone…"
Roxas looked up at him. Demyx was saying just what he had been thinking… "I-I know it happens to everyone eventually… but… why him…and why… now…?"
Roxas went over to him.
"I miss him so much…"
Demyx looked up; almost as if he'd forgotten that Roxas was there. He blinked. His eyelashes wet with tears. Roxas' baby blue eyes stared back at him.
A radio was turned on in one of the construction trucks.
Next up a total classic!
It proclaimed.
Step one you say we need to talk
He walks
Say sit down it's just a talk
Smiles politely back to you
You stare politely right on though
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
And you begin to wonder why you came
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
Roxas took a sharp in take of air. It was too much of a coincidence. I fitted so well… How the hell…? Roxas shook his head. He'd lost a friend… He couldn't save him… He would never see him again… He'd lost him forever… Things could never be the same now… They would always be different without him… No grave to visit… Only the memories…
Roxas shook his head. He wouldn't have wanted him to waste his life thinking about him… He would have wanted him to get on with his life.
Roxas stared up at the house once more. Then looked at the photo that was crumpled in his hand.
I'll never forget you…
A/N Well... sorry about that... i was just in 'that sort of mood' if you know what i mean...
But never mind... I'll be expecting a few flames i think...
