Enjolras and Grantaire were not what you'd call friends, more like accepting roomates. Enjolras thought Grantaire was careless and he thought very little of the the fact that he was constantly drunk. Where as Grantaire thought Enjolras was too uptight and angry. But when you share a four by four box that apparently passes off as a room, you learn to like your roomate.
"I'm meeting up with Marius down at the cafe, are you coming?" Enjolras asked, laptop in his arms.
"Why? To listen to you two grumble on about injustice? No thanks, I'll stay here with my real friend, Daniels." Grantaire retorted.
"Should've known," Enjolras started to close the door but changed his mind and replied, " We don't merely talk about "injustice" we talk about changing the way the people in this school think and more importantly how it's run. We plan, we plan revolutions!" He practically spat out his words.
"Yeah, yeah, General, one protest and you saved the world. You mostly blog about tiny problems. Let's not get up in arms about this now. You've what? Taken down a few firewalls, picketed outside a couple of classrooms and angrily blog. You hardly plan revolutions."
Enjolras was popular among the campus' angry vegans and hipsters. He ran a social justice blog that some of their fellow classmates read. It was something Grantaire loved to mock.
"And let's be honest here, the second Marius gets a girlfriend he'll no longer care about your causes." Grantaire rolled his eyes and made a motion for Enjolras to shut the door as he turned back to his bottle of Jack Daniels. The door slammed shut.
What a drama queen, Grantaire thought, But it was worth it Enjolras looks so hot when he was angry.
