Harry watched him, he was fairly certain this had become an obsession but Harry could hardly care. Draco was beautiful, how could he not watch? He would make up little white lies if anyone asked though, like saying he was going for a walk to clear his mind or saying he just needed some air. Of course he could never tell anyone, what you think people would respond well to the fact that the savior of the wizarding world had a crush on the poster boy of the dark side or the war? Even though Harry had his invisibility cloak on he still felt conscious about watching Malfoy outside of Hogwarts but damn! Seeing Draco in his tight black jeans, fur jacket and cute furry hat surrounded by pure white snow was definitely worth the risk. It was a good job that Harry had never told anyone about his cloak, even Ron and Hermione. He had almost told them multiple times but he was thanking himself that he hadn't when he followed Malfoy to where the other two thirds of the golden trio were talking about the shrieking shack. Obviously Malfoy would take the bait and taunt them which Harry wouldn't stand for but he couldn't hex him, no Harry liked him too much for that so snowballs worked well. The snowballs had sent Ron, Hermione, Crabbe and Goyle off running back to Hogsmead but Malfoy kept his cool and demanded to know who was there. Harry chuckled to himself quietly and then grabbed Draco's ankles and dragged him down the path towards the shrieking shack. Malfoy gave an unmanly shriek and tried to scramble back up the path but harry had him pinned. Making sure no one was in sight Harry leaned in and kissed Draco through the cloth of his cloak. Draco froze, completely shocked at the sudden change in scenery. A moment ago he was being attacked and now here was being kissed by an invisible person with some kind of fabric over their lips. Malfoy's eyes were wide, he reached out a hand to feel the person. As soon as he felt the fabric under his hands it was gone. Harry had backed off and ran to the shrieking shack. 'Wow this is an obsession!' Harry thought. Potter ran up into one of the dusty abandoned rooms of the shack, set up a warming charm and pulled the cloak off. His fingers slipped up to touch his lips as he slid down to the floor. 'If only the fabric hadn't been there.' Harry thought. 'If only.'
"Potter?" The unheard voice approached closer shocking Harry as it spoke directly in front of him. "Potter! Why did you do that? And don't deny, snow leaves foot prints remember." Harry's head filled with abuse from being so stupid. "Um…" What could he say? 'Oh hey Malfoy, yeah I have a huge crush on you even though we are mortal enemies, fancy going out with me?' What good would that do?
"Potter?"
"Hm? Oh! um…" Harry mumbled, surprised at leaving his thoughts. 'Maybe actions would speak better than words?' He leaned over and kissed Draco once more, this time there was no cloak and he was a lot more certain and strong. After a moment Malfoy melted into the kiss before breaking away quickly.
"I want a reason Potter, stop evading."
"Fine! I fancy you, Okay?! Go on laugh, spread it to the school that stupid Harry Potter fancies the perfect Draco Malfoy, son of the enemy." Harry yelled blinking away tears, he turned away to not let Malfoy see them. After a moment of silence Harry's patience gave up, he looked back to Draco, quite shocked to see him smiling.
"You really are stupid potter." Harry was about to retort back when a pair of soft warm lips crashed into his. Harry's hands went up to cup Draco's neck as Malfoy gripped the other boy's waist. They stayed like that, entwined and just kissing for what seemed like a lifetime during and then only a brief second afterwards. "How long?" Harry asked after they split, panting.
A soft, beautiful smile crawled onto Draco's lips.
"Always."
