Jane ran to the docks early in the morning. She was eager to get to the island so she could buy the pass to Club Tortimer.
"I wonder what this Club Tortimer thing is all about?" she said to herself as she almost knocked over Agnes on her way.
"Morning, Agnes! Sorry!" said Jane.
"That Jane is such a hyperactive little kid. I'd better keep an eye on her." Agnes thought.
Jane reached the docks where she hopped in Kapp'n's boat. "Yar, if ye be wanting to go to de island, you gots to pay 1000 bells fer da ferry service, my wee mango." said the kappa.
She handed over the fee and the boat started to move. Kapp'n started to sing one of his awful songs, so she started tapping her feet impatiently which prompted Kapp'n to shout at her. "Why ye in such a hurry, that island, she ain't goin' nowhere!" The little boat arrived at the tropical paradise that was Tortimer Island. Immediately, Jane went to the gift shop and asked Grams "How much for the Club Tortimer paperwork?" "It be 50 medals, missy!" she replied. "Ugh." thought Jane. She was 1 medal short. She traipsed over to the counter to be greeted by Leilani. "If ye wants to go on a tour, here be the options for today." beamed the kappa. There were the following tours available that day.
Easy Fishing Tour
Pro Fishing Tour
Dangerous Fishing Tour
Easy Bug Catching Tour
Pro Bug Catching Tour
Expert Bug Catching Tour.
Jane groaned. She despised all 6 tours on that list. She unenthusiastically pointed to the Easy Fishing Tour and sat down on the wicker chair.
*5 minutes later*
Jane returned with her pockets full of fruit and flowers and the medal that she needed. She went in a trance over to the gift shop, waited for Grams to stop blathering about her son and the bimbotic woman he married and finally purchased the Club Tortimer paperwork. After she bought them, Grams said something along the lines of "internet, inappropriate garb, inappropriate language and blacklist" but Jane was too engrossed in the paperwork to listen. She filled the sheets in quickly without reading the fine print and hurriedly handed them to Grams. Grams wanted to warn naive little Jane about a dangerous thing that was going on at Club Tortimer but she had already boarded the boat back to Galletta.
