Hey there! This is my first, and short story, so I hope you'll enjoy it! Oh, this story is somewhat based off of Twilight, but with different characters and such.
Disclamier: I do not own Twilight...if only I did though, haha...
The full moon shone brightly against the dark sky that seemed as smooth as velvet, wrapped in a starry blanket. The moonlight crept inside through a large, glass window, casting spooky eerie shadows on the ebony wood floor. Wind howled fiercely outside, causing the thin branches of a tall oak tree next to the window to snap against the glass sharply.
A slender framed girl about the age of sixteen stood with her back to the window, the silver light washing her back and her long dark brown hair. Goose bumps rose up on her arms as she stared in awe and with the feeling of uneasiness. In her head, she thought about leaning into his strong arms and breathe in the sweet smell that came off of him. She wanted to move, but she couldn't. Her feet were rooted to the floor.
Absolutely insaneā¦she thought as she bit her lip and resisted the urge. I barely know him and he's in my house!
In front of her, as she stood there thinking, was a tall, skinny teenager about the age of seventeen with ruffled light brown hair and teasing blue eyes. His skin was almost as pale and colorless as snow as he just smiled lightly.
Suddenly, he took a couple of steps towards her until he was an arms-length away. She blinked, breaking away from her thoughts and started to lean away from her, scared, when his hand shot up from his side and got a hold of her thin wrist. She was shocked to feel how cold he was, but stunned to see how handsome he looked up-close.
"You'll enjoy being one of us," his voice was sweet, luring and soft as the gentle breeze in the summer. "It won't be painful." He traced her arm with a finger lightly, leaving another trail of goose bumps as I shivered.
Then the last thing she remembered was him leaning towards her before everything went pitch black; a stifling darkness that seemed to never end.
