Coffee
Dean groaned as he straightened his back for what seemed like the first time in hours. He rubbed his eyes, sore from staring at his laptop's screen for so long. With an exasperated sigh he continued to type away, he had to finish this report for his Lit class. After typing a few more lines to the conclusion he ran his hand through his hair. The dim light from his desk lamp illuminated only the desk. Behind him he heard Castiel sit up in his bed. "You're still up?" Castiel looked at the digital clock on his bedside table. "It's 3 am."
"I have to finish this paper before class, " Said Dean, giving another sigh and leaning his head against his hands. "I'm almost done, just have to finish this conclusion." Castiel switched on the bedside lamp. Dean looked over at him, smiling as he saw Castiel's bare chest. Castiel got out of the bed, dressed only in his underwear. He walked over to Dean, kissed him on the check and left the room. A few seconds later Dean heard the tap in the kitchen go on, run for a few seconds then go off again. Dean expected Castiel to come back to the room, then he heard a rumbling in the kitchen and smiled. A few minutes later, after dean had finally finished his conclusion, Castiel walked into the room with a steaming mug in each hand. He placed one next to Dean, touched his shoulder with his cold hand and kissed him on the check again. "Come to bed soon, okay?" said Castiel, sipping his own coffee. He placed his hand on Dean's check, turned his face towards his own and kissed Dean one last time, Dean felt his body warm up and smiled when Castiel pulled away. Dean saved and printed his paper and sat next to Castiel as they drank their coffee.
"Cas?" said Dean, half scared
"Mmm?" Castiel looked over to Dean, he met Dean's emerald green eyes and smiled.
Dean placed his hand on Castiel's and weaved his fingers into Castiel's. "I know that this sounds weird, but I just…" he looked into Castiel's eyes, he felt his heart speed up, everything about the man who was sitting right next to him, every single fiber of his being, was exactly what Dean loved about him, "I just wanted to say that… that I love you."
Castiel smiled and kissed Dean, a simple kiss, not a peck though, but a kiss that embodied the exact same feeling Dean had just expressed through words. "Dean, I love you too." He said smiling.
