Heracles was told that it was very hard to catch Kiku sleeping, if not impossible. Often times he'd heard storied of how Kiku would be suggested to take a break from working but Kiku, declining, did not stop working until he was done with his part, and that even when the Japanese man looked as if he were ready to pass out, he absolutely would not stop until the task was completed.

Apparently, this didn't change even if it was outside of work. Even Yao, whom had once lived with him, said that he couldn't even glimpse at the face of a sleeping Kiku.

And yet, here he was, expression peaceful as he dozed off in Heracles' lap, an unfinished book sprawled on his stomach as he slept. The Grecian merely watched on, and for that moment, forgot all that troubled him and he simply basked in what seemed to be peace emanating from Kiku.

As he carefully adjusted Kiku's position, brushing raven locks off his pale face, Heracles felt as if they were the only two in the world.
