Summery: When two-year-old Teddy gets lost in the toy store someone helps her find her way back. This story follows PJ's Time Out

Family/Hurt/comfort

Amy knew Teddy and PJ were as different as night and day but they were very close. PJ was Teddy's big brother. He was her best friend. He was her most loyal protector. PJ saw his responsibility as that of a hero to his little sister and he would allow himself to be nothing less. Half the things that he got in trouble for was stuff Teddy did. He just didn't want her to get in trouble.

One day Amy took PJ and Teddy to the toy store. She promised to get them both a toy. Teddy got distracted and somehow she ended up getting lost. Once Amy saw Teddy was gone she freaked out. PJ started crying. Amy tried to comfort him while looking for Teddy. The toy store was really big.

"GIRL PJ," PJ yelled, "Pwese help Teddy"
"Honey," Amy asked, "Who are you talking to?"
"I talking to girl PJ mommy," PJ said.
"Who is girl PJ," Amy asked.
She was trying to stay as calm as possible. She knew getting upset wouldn't help find Teddy. She knew she had to stay calm for PJ's sake as she spoke to the front desk who could help her.

Meanwhile Teddy realized she wasn't with her family and she got scared. She began to cry.

"It's okay Teddy," said a girl who she saw in pictures, "I'm right here and I'm going to take you to mommy."

"Who you," Teddy asked.

"I'm PJ," the girl said.

"Nu-uh," Teddy said, "PJ a boy. You a giwl."

Pamela Jane smiled patiently. She had explained this to PJ and she would now have to explain it to Teddy.
"I'm girl PJ. PJ is boy PJ. Boy PJ is named after me."
"Cause you were borned first," Teddy asked.
"Yes and because I had to go bye-bye before PJ was born."

After that Pamela Jane took Teddy's hand and led her to Amy and PJ.

"Mommy!"

Amy ran and hugged her.

"Oh my BABY," she exclaimed.

"I otay mommy," Teddy said, "Giwl PJ helped me back to you"

"You met girl PJ," PJ asked.

"Uh-huh," Teddy said, "She was borned before you."

"She was," Amy asked, "What did she look like."

"Like you mommy but wif daddy's hair and she had wing."

Amy knew it was Pamela Jane. It was the baby she had with her for 11 months before she fell asleep one night and never woke up.

"Well come on," Amy said wiping a tear away, "We'll buy you both a toy and then mommy is going to take you and PJ out to lunch and get you both ice cream."

She thanked GOD for sending her the angel that she had lost but GOD had more gifts in store for her. All she knew now was she had two beautiful healthy children playing with their new toys and eating ice cream thanks to Pamela Jane... or as they would call her "girl PJ"
