Kirby struggled, kicked and fought with all his might, and yet his feeble body couldn't break free. King Dedede and his minions must have done something to him….
"Make sure it's ready," King Dedede ordered his minions. "To send him far beyond his imagination." He laughed evilly.
Kirby had no clear idea of what was going on, but he had figured out King Dedede would be sending him somewhere. He heard sounds of electricity. Was there something in the shadowy corner of the room? He tried to get into a position to see. There was no way he could.
"Um, my King, it's ready," A faithful minion called.
"Good." The King snickered with much delight. "It's about time he was gotten rid of. For g-"
"Err," The minion interrupted. "He won't be gotten rid of for good if you just-"
"NOBODY ASKED YOU!" King Dedede bellowed angrily. "Damn minions..."
His minion ceased conversation and heaved an odd machine over to the table Kirby was lying on. This was it. Kirby heard the machine noisily gather power once it had been switched on. Nothing was sensible after that.
Ripping noises-particularly loud ones-roared around him. Swirling electricity whirled everywhere, and the only color Kirby could see was blue. Then, to make matters worse, Kirby slammed into a tree. He didn't even bother to look around. He was too depressed. All anyone wanted to do was harm him. Sighing, he fell asleep, still very lonesome and sad.
"Epona, tell me," Link began, riding the horse through Hyrule field, keeping an eye out for a "mysterious pink blob" that had been reported. "Why we're always stuck going on these stupid little hunts for nothing?"
His horse neighed. Link knew she hadn't understood what he just asked her, yet he felt as if she hated these stupid things they had to do as well. They came to a tree, and Link was shocked to see a pink blob lying under a tree.
He drew his sword and poked it. The blob jumped up and glared at him. It had blue eyes, a small mouth (for now) and red feet.
"Who-who are you?" Link managed to ask.
There was no response.
