Another installment of this strange series.
Scout had just woken up from a peaceful slumber, well... It was peaceful until the Engineer was found in his cupboard. Shrugging that thought off, Scout opened the door to the kitchen. Payload would start in 4 hours and he needed something to eat.
His eyes instinctively scanned the room for Spies, satisfyed there were none, he sat down on a table and stretched himself. Hearing a few snaps and pops, he sighed. Stretching everywhere else, he hopped off the wooden table and landed on the laminate floor.
Scout the proceded to advance towards a cabinet. With his manly arm, he opened it like any man would. After finding the box of cereal he desired, he shut the cabinet. He poured a bowl of cereal and placed the box back in the cabinet he took it from. But suddenly came to a shocking conclusion.
"I need some milk."
Being the brave man he was, he went to the fridge. Not before observing the profanities that were spelt out with fridge magnets. He smirked, he had done them himself. Taking one last glance, Scout opened the fridge.
"Good day, ze Scout!" Spy said merrily to him.
Scout jumped back, what the frick was Spy, a classy Mentlegen, doing in a smelly old fridge!?
"Uh... Spoy, what're you doin' in the damn fridge?" Scout asked the frenchman.
Spy looked astonished, "Why, all ze french people sleep in ze fridges, my boy!"
"Um... Well, I guess that's alright... Can ya pass me the milk?" Scout inquired.
"But of course!"
And then Scout had his cereal.
