The Nocturnal Junkyard

Writers note – This is different than the occurrence in the game. In Digital Devil Saga – Avatar Tuner , the Hitosyura acted only as an optional secret boss that was known for being extremely hard (the only way to stand a slim chance was to have a level 99 party). I have tried to Tie Shin Megami Tensei 3 and Avatar Tuner together to give a reason to the occurences.

Naoki lay on the floor, leaning his back against a wall. He looked at the palm of his hand. This wasn't his hand. It had been twisted by the black markings that the Magatama had given him. He sighed and tilted his head back to look towards the ceiling. He had been in this vortex world for a long time, but he still couldn't get used to it. Everything about Tokyo that he knew was here, and yet it was different. That's what made it so frustrating. It was familiar, but wrong.

"What's wrong master?" a small voice said from beside him. Naoki turned and saw Pixie hovering beside him, with a concerned look on her face.

"You seem ... troubled"

Naoki smiled at her, and stood up "Yeah, its okay. Just some things take some getting used to"

he started walking down a corridor, when he heard a noise behind him. He turned to see the air flux, and he heard something. Voices. Were there other people here in this vortex world?

He walked carefully towards the portal, making sure to keep on his guard. After all, the last time he had been through a vortex, he'd been landed in a dark world being challenged by a skeletal fiend.

He placed a hand on the vortex, and felt his hand warp. He turned to Pixie, who just nodded, and then leapt through the portal.

In the depths of Anahata, Serph, along with Gale and Cielo were searching the undergrounds. Serph couldnt explain it, but he felt something odd down here. He made his way through the tunnels, even going so far as going back through the poison gas (which Cielo did not like one bit!). After a number of hours, they stopped.

"We ain't never gonna find anytin'. Why don't we just give up now, eh?" Cielo moaned, as he slumped to the floor.

Gale touched his nose, adjusting the glasses he didn't have

"I agree that the situation does indeed seem hopeless, but I too feel this presence which Serph felt, and I believe that it would be foolish to just turn back now after we have come so far"

"But de matter is dat we been through almost all o' dis place, and we aint fount anyting"

"The fact that we've been through almost all of the underground is a good thing, as it means that there are less remaining places for it to be. Do you not agree Serph?"

Serph just responded with a nod. He didn't talk much.

Cielo just held his head "you two always givin' me more work!"

All three of them continued, until they reached the LAST door. Serph went to touch it, and held his head. Something was in there, and it felt wrong.

Blackness ... just so much blackness, and it felt wrong. He opened his eyes. At first, there was nothing there, but as his eyes focussed, he saw walls enclosed around him. He was in a small room, but the design was like nothing that had ever been seen before in Tokyo.

"Naoki, are you there?" he heard Pixie call. He leapt up and looked round to find her.

He fumbled around the room to find the door, when it opened, and on the other side, he saw three people ...

... and they didn't look happy

Next Time on Nocturnal Junkyard. The battle beween the Hitosyura and the Embryon

and for anyone with a problem with Cielo's attempted jamaican accent, I think it sounds cool!
