I put the last of what I own in a box.

I walked over to my desk, and noticed a piece of paper that had not been there before.

I read it out loud to myself, and I knew immediately that it was from you.

I looked down to the place the letter had been when I found it.

There was I picture there too.

I picked it up, and took a close look at it.

It was a picture of you.

I folded up the paper you had written your apology on, and put it in my pocket.

Reading the letter made me realize that leaving you was a big mistake.

I ran out of the house and headed for the spot you usually are at this time of day.

When I got there you had been standing there, then you disappeared into the shadows.

I yelled your name, hoping with all my heart that you would here me.

I got no answer.

When I reached the spot you had been standing in.

I was meet with an empty alleyway.

I yelled your name one last time, still receiving no answer.

I pressed my back up against the wall, and slid down so that I was sitting on the cold hard ground.

I guessed I was too late and that you were gone.

I sat there for some time not realizing I had been saying your name over and over while pleading for you to come back.

Then I felt a warm hand on my shoulder.

I looked up to see who it was.
