My computer has been resurrected, and has new software on it! I haven't had Word in years, and I'm rather fond of OpenOffice actually. However, I figure that the new version deserves its fair shake.

Disclaimer: I do not own the Ninja Turtles or any of their associated characters. They are the property of Nickelodeon.

There were three left, and an unconscious victim. Donnie was trying to stop the girl's bleeding, which left one goon each. It was quick and easy, though the guy with the baseball bat got in a lucky shot just before he fell.

"What do we do with her?" Mikey asked, rubbing his side, where he'd taken a glancing blow from the bat. "We can't just leave her here. She'll bleed to death!"

"We'll take her with us. Raph, help me lift her. Don, keep doing what you're doing."

"Leo, you can't honestly expect me to… Right." Don cut off his objection as Raph and Leo lifted his patient. "You know how this is going to end, right?"

"So we get to keep her?" Mikey asked as he finished tying up the gang members, picked up the woman's purse and followed his brothers.

"How's she doing?" Mikey asked, peering around Don's shoulder. "Bleeding's stopped, right?"

"Yes, the bleeding has stopped, but I think she looks a little pale. I'm not sure."

"So, when is she going to wake up?" Mikey pursued.

"I don't know. I'm not a doctor, and I don't think a doctor could tell either. She has blood loss and a head wound. They're tricky." Don replied with a sigh that covered growing impatience with his brother. "Why did we bring her here again?"

"Dude! She was in trouble! We couldn't just leave her there."

"I know, but isn't this what- oh!"

The air was split with the sound of a blood curdling scream. The patient who had been unconscious just moments before was now standing and screaming at them. No words, just very loud. Both turtles in the room slapped their hands over their ears. Mikey screamed as well, which only added to the chaos and cacophony.

"Aw, come on, we helped you." Mikey shouted.

That didn't seem to matter - although it was equally probable that she simply had not heard the statement over her own screams - as the girl picked up the closest item and threw it at Mikey. The item she threw was a small glass bottle. Mikey managed to duck, but the wall did not. The glass exploded against it, releasing the contents all over the floor. More screaming followed, and the girl stumbled toward the exit, mumbling to herself as she tried to focus on the problem at hand.

"Gotta get out of here. Where the hell is here? What were those? Where am I? And why does it smell like shit? Oh God, am I in a sewer? Oh disgusting! Where's the door? OW!"

The rambling was punctuated by walking into a wall in her addled state. Between blood loss and panic, she was a little out of sorts. Leonardo managed to catch her.

"Oh thank goodness, there are-" and she realized where she was. This resulted in more screaming. "What the hell?" She struggled. "Let me go!"

"Hey, we're not trying to hurt you!" Leo attempted. This was the wrong move as the girl once again started to shriek. He let her go rather than provoke her further.

"Don't forget your bag!" Mikey called from the doorway of the infirmary. The girl paused briefly, blinked, picked up her purse and somehow made it out the door.

"That went well." Raph commented with his arms crossed.

"We lose more humans that way." Mikey said with a sigh. "Should we really be letting her walk around the sewers, all by herself, when she has blood loss and a head wound?"

"Probably not," Leo responded.

"Next time, can we pretend we're normal people and just call 9-1-1?" Don asked.
