"Sirius, Hand it over."

"But, Remus, its doing no harm,"

"There was," James said reluctantly, "A complaint from the girls' dorm. It's keeping them up at night."

"No, it's not this," he gestured to the pile of parchment that was on the table, charred at the failed attempts to charm it, "that's keeping those ladies up. It is my handsomeness that makes them want to stay up and watch me enchant paper." Peter let out a little laugh, then stopped at the look he got from all his friends.

"Padfoot, the bottom line is that it is making noise. Stop trying to charm that paper, you are not, and I repeat not, going to charm paper to have a moving map of Hogwarts."

"Remus, I've figured out a way to make it not make noise"-he did not mention that he got it from stealing Severus Snape's potion book-"but only if you guys help me with it."

"Okay then, boys," said Remus, turning to James and Peter, "Let's help Sirius enchant paper." He only said this to avoid Sirius's, and probably soon James's, pleading.

"Muffliatto!" He charmed, and they all started working on it. They didn't stop working until three in the morning, when they finally decided on the password.

"I solemnly swear that I'm up to no good."
