So this is the outcome of boredom on an early morning. Hope you enjoy.
I Can Do It Better
"Jakeeee," Bella whined.
"Come on Bells, I can do this," Jake said flashing her an impatient glare.
"Well sure you can, but..." she trailed off as he lifted his hands.
"But nothing," Jake snapped. "It's mine. I think I know how to handle it."
Bella sighed with resignation. "Is it hot?"
Jake's hands slid lower, moving up and down and Bella's eyes were transfixed at the sight. Her lip caught between her teeth, as she watched with rapt attention.
"No hotter than usual," Jake said with a smirk.
Bella rolled her eyes and inched forward in her chair, "I've never seen this done before."
"Well at least one of your first times is with me," Jake joked earning him a smack on his arm.
"Hey," he protested. "Don't wanna break it now do we?"
Bella shook her head, "Wouldn't want that at all."
Jake's brows snapped together in concentration, as he used both his hands.
"It's like you're caressing it," Bella breathed face flushing.
"These hands are magical," he said with a wink.
"Can I try?" Bella asked airily.
Jake raised a brow, "You sure?"
"Uh huh," Bella nodded.
"Your hands are much smaller than mine," Jake said sceptically.
"So?" Bella snapped.
She hated that he always thought she was incapable of doing anything he could.
"Fine," he said leaning back and moving his hands. "Go for it."
Bella scooted forward and put her hands where Jake's had just vacated.
She gave a gasp at the contact. He was right. It felt huge in her hands; but she wasn't going to let that deter her. She mimicked Jake's previous movements, revelling in the feeling of accomplishment coursing through her.
Her smile widened as Jake urged her on.
"Wow Bells...yeah...just like that...you're a natural..." he said.
Bella's breaths were coming in spurts, like they did when she got excited.
"This is...amazing Jake," she breathed.
"Yeah," he grinned. "And you're really good at it...might even teach me a thing or two."
Bella glowed at the praise, moving her hands faster now.
"Easy Bells," Jake warned.
"Is it supposed to curve like that?" Bella asked her eyes raising to meet his.
"Sometimes," he shrugged.
"Oh," she said biting her lip again, "ok."
"Almost done Bells," Jake said loudly.
Bella squeaked as Jake hunched over and covered her hands with his.
"Just a little bit more," he said, his breath fanning her cheeks.
"Ohmigod Jake!" Bella exclaimed. "I'm doing it."
"Yeah Bells you are!" Jake shouted. "Wow look at you go Bells!"
Bella's hands worked furiously along with Jake's.
"Yes...yes...YES!" Bella shouted as the door to the shed opened.
Her father stood there with his eyes flashing dangerously.
"What the hell is going on in here?" Charlie yelled.
Jake reached over and turned off the machine and grinned lamely.
"Hey Charlie."
"Hi dad," Bella said. "Jake was teaching me pottery."
Bella stood up and wiped her hands on the overalls Jake had lent her. "See? I made my first pot."
Charlie's eyes flashed over to the pot and he grunted something incoherently and stalked back through the door.
"What's up his ass?" Jake asked.
Bella shrugged, "Beats me. Thanks for the lesson Jake."
Jake smiled, "Anytime Bells."
