Think of Alvin as me and Theodore as...everyone else in the world. LoL!
Sorry I made Theodore so weird! If I made Alvin weird, it would seem like he was just being annoying, and if I did Simon, I'd seem like I was making fun of smart people!
(You'll know what I mean by "weird" in just a moment if you read on!)
I made this as a reaction to the things people say somemtimes!
Enjoy!
"Theo!" Alvin called as he waited for Theodore in the school parking lot, "Come on! We gotta get home!"
"Coming!" Theodore responded and they started walking. "You are a good brother. Brothers walk home together. And we are brothers; nothing else."
Alvin looked at him. "Um...okay....So, how was school today?"
"Fine, my red-clad chipmunk."
Alvin stared. "'Red-clad'? What does 'clad' mean anyway?"
Theodore shrugged. "I'm not sure. But you should know. You're the oldest."
"What?!"
Silence.
"Really?" Alvin asked, in shock a little bit. "You aren't just saying that?"
"Really," Theodore answered simply.
"I always thought I was the middle child!" Theodore shook his head.
"Hm, "Alvin thought as he took that in.
They were quiet the whole way home. When they arrived at home, Alvin immediately made popcorn and plopped down on the beanbag in front of the TV. He turned on his game console and grabbed the controller. Theodore read a book.
After a half an hour of mothing but the sound of guns and warfare filling the silence, Alvin put his game on pause and faced Theodore. "So," he began lamely, trying to make conversation, "is that a good book?"
Theodore nodded.
Silence.
Alvin waved his hands back and forth. "Hello? Anybody in there? You can talk you know." He crossed his arms. "Man, you're getting as bad as Simon!" Realizing who wasn't there, Alvin did a quick scan of the room for his supposedly-younger brother, as if just looking would make him appear. "Where is Simon, anyway?"
Theodore finally looked up. "Oh, he's at Brittany's house."
Alvin tried to look uniterested. He popped a piece of popcorn into his mouth. "Doing...what?"
"They're going out."
Alvin choked. "WHAT?!"
"Remember?"
"No, I most certainly do NOT remember!" Alvin got a glass of water to help clear his throat. "Why didn't you tell me?!"
"I thought you knew!" he shot back. "Besides, Brittany can't awlays end up with you, you know."
"Then what am I supposed to do now, huh?" Alvin took a swig of water. "Do I die alone?! Is that it?!"
"No, no, no," Theodore said, "You go with Eleanor."
Alvin did a spit take. "I thought you liked Eleanor!"
"No, no, no! Keep up! I'm with Jeanette!"
Alvin responded my staring straight into space. He lowered his glass of water to the table. Forgetting to shut off hi video game, we slowly made his way up stairs, looking at nothing. He shut his bedroom door. "Come and get me when we get back to the real world," Alvin called downstairs.
Down stairs, Theodore shook his head. "I hope he figures out that we are in the real world...."
"I heard that!"
I swear I'm not that big of a spazz! I combined my reactions to what his reactions would be if it weren't always that way.
I don't have anything agaisnt mixed couples!
Let me end this by promising my next story will be better!
