"Your turn, Purin!" said Ichigo.
It was late into the morning and the Mew Mews were working at the café and daring each other to do various tasks at the same time. Ichigo and Ryou's argument had finished a while ago
("Late again, baka strawberry."
"I was late because you kept me late yesterday!"
"How does that make sense? Besides, I kept you late because you were late."
"Argh!")
It wasn't particularly busy today, so it wasn't hard to slack off for a moment and play another turn of their game. Of course, Ichigo was still the only one actually doing any productive work, but that's besides the point.
"I know. I dare you to kiss the first guy you see," said Minto deviously. She was sitting at her usual table, sipping her tea. Obviously, she paid no heed to anybody telling her that she was taking up a table that could've seated a paying customer. But then, someone had taken away her normal life, hadn't they? And to Minto, it was as simple as that.
"Okay, na no da!" chirped Purin.
Purin turned around and scanned the room full of people. There were plenty of males in the room, but Purin's eyes didn't stop on any of them. She kept looking, as if for someone she would not hate to kiss.
Just then, three more customers came in.
"Hello Pai, Kisshu, Taruto," said Retasu.
Purin strode over to the aliens purposefully and kissed Taruto full on the lips. Taruto's eyes widened subtantially and his face was quickly turning red. Purin didn't seem to be affected by the kiss at all.
"Wha – why – you –" spluttered Taruto.
The other Mews strode over and joined them.
"Purin!" said Ichigo accusingly, "You were supposed to kiss the first guy you saw. Taruto didn't come in until way after you turned around."
Because, obviously, Ichigo would've done the dare properly.
"He was the only one I saw, na no da," said Purin simply.
She didn't hate kissing him. In fact, she thought she quite liked it.
