Hi! This is my first attempt at writing fanfiction. I sorta developed an infatuation with Legolas and Tauriel and I really need to get this out of my system lol. I do not own any of the characters, they were merely an appreciation of their representation and the emotions they stir up within my beating heart!
Gazing at the stars, Legolas angled his towering stature to a more comfortable position over the palatial balcony railing. The night was windless and crisp. His armour, that of an Elven prince, seemed as elaborate as the luminous and decorative trimmings echoing through the dazzling architecture of Mirkwood.
Breathing in the exquisite night, Legolas contemplated his swirling heart. Nature always had a way of calming his soul; only this time he knew he needed something more⦠someone more and more - Tauriel.
It was only a matter of time before he knew the elleth would make her way to the crystal waterfall between the soothing trees. It was one of her favorite 'secret' places she would find refuge in when everything became too much. Given the severity of the events that lead her to Mirkwood, it is not hard to understand that Tauriel needed some way to work through her traumatising past. Like Legolas, she too had found peace within nature; only now she was in Mirkwood, away from the forest she adored! He fondly remembers finding the red haired bundle in the corner of her room, sniffing away the tears, trying to look brave as Legolas entered the room investigating the strange noises he had heard. He walked up to the young elfling, held out his hand and said
"Let me show you something mellon"
There, under the watchful moon, next to the crystal waterfall, Tauriel rested her head upon Legolas's lap, while he softly played with her hair until her tears dried up.
"You know, if you thinking any deeper we might need a war horn to bring you back from the depths of your mind!" A voice called out.
Legolas smiled. "Tauriel".
Tauriel, made her way up the grand staircase to meet the stately elf. His crystal blue eyes glistening mysteriously as he felt a rush of adrenalin.
"I thought you had important business to attend to?" asked Tauriel, swiftly positioning herself on top of the balcony railing. "Some business is better left until the arrival of the morning light" he replies turning to his red haired companion.
Clearly reading the signs that she won't get much talk out of Legolas tonight, Tauriel laid herself down on the balcony railing to pre occupy herself with observing the stars.
Now, leaning on his elbow, still facing the observing elf, Legolas starts to gently caress her vibrantly flowing locks. She momentarily breaks her concentration from the stars and finds her amber eyes locked with his deep gaze.
The energy was intense, but both of them knew what they wanted. He leaned closer, staring into Tauriel's intense eyes, slowly lowering his lips to meet hers.
At first their lips lightly brushed... followed by a stronger gesture that left their lips lingering and interlocked.
Softly tilting her head to the right, Tauriel brushed her tongue against his. Both grinning at the pure euphoria produced by the energy of their closeness.
Tauriel gently moves a piece of his silver mane from her neck and subtly cares his jawline. Clearly he found it pleasurable as his gaze deepened.
Gently he took her other unoccupied hand and placed a delicate kiss on her forehead.
