Disclaimer: I do not own Tantalize though I sure wish that I owned Kieren.

Summary: Bradley does not want to leave but Quincie will not rest until he is gone forever.

Gone Forever

"Baby?" Bradley whispered unsure.

"Don't call me baby!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

"It's time for you to keep your promise and leave us be," I told him angrily. "Do not return or I swear to God we will kill you."

"Quincie don't you see that we're meant to be together," Bradley objected. "Do you really think it could work out with the wolf boy? Do you truly believe that you are destined to be with him when it was I who have stood by you these past months?"

"You are the one that kept Kieren away from me Bradley," I stated angrily.

"He does not deserve to bask in your radiance. You are a creature of the night now my dear, together we can rule the dark and all that walk among us."

"I do not wish to rule anything. I just want you to leave us alone."

Bradley hesitated at first, but then I saw a resigned look spread across his face and I knew that I had won.

"Very well," he told me. "If you change your mind you may always come and find me my love."

"You don't love me Bradley. You took away my free will; you changed me without my consent. You made me something that I never wanted to be and for that I will never forgive you."

Bradley looked pained at my declaration. "I only wanted you to be mine Quincie."

"Well I'm not yours nor will I ever be. I feel only contempt towards you Bradley for everything you have done to me and to the countless others whose lives you have destroyed. If you truly loved me you would never have done anything to harm me. Kieren loves me; he would rather hurt himself then ever lay a finger on me. You only love that which you can control and have power over. It's time for you to leave us forever Bradley. Forget about me; remove all thoughts of me from your head and I'll make damn sure that I forget all about you."

I met his gaze, thrusting my chin out unwaveringly. I heard him sigh and he hung his head sadly.

"Goodbye Quincie," he said at last.

"Goodbye Bradley," I replied.

He looked at me one final time before dissolving into mist, and then he was gone.

Gone forever.

The End.
