Another Sun

Sakura had a friend called Ino.
Ino had a friend, too, called Sakura, but she wasn't her only friend.
A lot of people knew who Ino was- usually they see her as a promising, future kunoichi- or simply as a good friend.
Ino was like the Sun, while Sakura was like the Moon- Ino was the celestial body and Sakura reflected her beams when she wasn't around.
Both the Moon and the Sun were pinned to the sky, but the Moon would never be able to compete with the Sun's shine- the Moon would never attempt to.
Even if Konoha lost her Moon, Konoha would survive, as the Moon served as much purpose to it as a shinobi who couldn't hold a kunai properly.
But if her Sun was taken away from her, Konoha would eventually die- because Konoha needed Ino- not Sakura.
Sakura didn't want to be the Moon.
When Sakura severed their friendship, Ino didn't say anything within the lines of being shocked, because they both knew that this would eventually happen from the start.
They also knew that Sakura didn't do it because the Moon can be seen clearly only when the Sun was absent- that wasn't her reason.
Sakura only wanted to be another Sun- like Ino.
Ino knew that, too, and even though they both knew there shouldn't be two Suns, Ino believed Sakura deserved be one.
