Hey! So I've had this idea for a while, but I've only just gotten around to actually writing it. Lost At St. Vladimir's is about a girl who finds herself thrown into the middle of the first Vampire Academy novel. Kind of like the TV series "Lost in Austen". Anyway, I'd love to know what you guys think of it, so please read and leave me some feedback! It would be much appreciated.

It was official: I was suffering from blank document syndrome. I leaned back in my chair and stretched whilst looking at my computer screen. I'd started to write my essay on the characteristics of different types of physical activities about an hour ago, and so far, all I had written down was the title. Facebook had just held too much of a temptation. I glanced down to the bottom right hand corner of the screen, where the time read '21:26'. I'd been up for over fifteen hours and my lack of sleep from last night (as well as many other nights before) was starting to take its toll on me. The fact that my day had started by swimming for an hour and I'd been to my kick-boxing class after school didn't help matters much.

I can finish this essay tomorrow. I told myself as I saved the document to my computer and went through the processes of turning it off. After all that was done, I quickly changed into my pyjamas and crawled into my bed. I almost turned on my television so that I could watch an episode of Friends or something before the book on my nightstand caught my eye. A small smile appeared on my lips just from seeing it. The Vampire Academy series had been one of my favourite series' of books ever since Maya, my best friend, had shown them to me a couple of years ago. She'd been over the moon that she shared her name with one of the characters, although I'd pointed out time and time again that the girl in the book was called 'Mia'. She didn't seem to want to listen though.

Picking the book up, I started to read from where I'd just left off. I really hadn't gotten that far when I'd started reading it again last night, in fact I'd only read the first paragraph and a bit. I was up to the part where Rose's teacher Stan was picking on her during her first lesson back at the academy. I'd always said to Maya how I would have hated it if that had happened to me. I wasn't as out-going as Rose was, although I was definitely not shy either.

I really hadn't gotten all too far when I felt my eyelids beginning to feel heavy, and with a sigh I put my bookmark – a handmade present from Maya back when we were about ten – back into the book and placed it back onto the nightstand. And then, as soon as my head landed on my pillow, I was out of it, hoping to dream about sunny days on the beach with my friends or a romantic getaway with Jensen Ackles. Actually, any dream with Jensen Ackles would be good enough for me.

I didn't get that long to dream though, as a sharp knock on my door woke me up. Followed by another one... And another one. I pushed my dark red hair out of my eyes before stumbling out of bed and towards my door. This is probably a good time to mention that I'm in college a year earlier than I should be. My parents had me home schooled from a really young age and, because of it, well, let's just say I'm not dumb okay? I opened my door, expecting it to be Maya waking me up because of a bad dream, but when I saw who was on the other side I almost fainted.

I didn't get a chance to invite the two girls in, as one of them did it for me. "We need to use this room." The dark haired girl told me. She was my height, two months older than me, but I was one inch taller than her. How did I know this? I knew it because this was Rosemarie Hathaway. And she and Vasilisa Dragomir had just entered my dorm room.
