This is just something I typed up in celebration of AkuRoku Day ^_^
Another one is coming up, consider this the sweet side of AkuRoku Day :3
Roxas woke up, looking out at the still darkened sky. It was Friday, 5am, and he had school. He sighed, getting up to go shower, wondering if his favorite red head even remembered what the day was…
Once at school, Roxas heard the familiar voice that always made his heart jump in odd ways.
"There's my Roxie." the voice said as he felt hands wrap around his waist. Axel. The one that made school worth it.
"Hey Axel." Roxas said, feeling a blush take over his face.
"How's my little blondie." Axel practically cooed, ruffling said blonde's hair, causing even more of a blush.
"Don't do that." he said then went to hug Axel. They kissed just as the bell rang.
"See ya Roxie." Axel said, turning to leave. Roxas glared for a second.
"Bye Ax…" Had he forgotten?
Throughout the rest of the day, Axel showed no signs of recalling its importance, which bought Roxas down a little, until Axel asked if it was alright to come pick him up later. Of course, Roxas responded with a yes.
"So, where are we going?" Roxas asked while buckling up in the car. Axel simply gave his famous smirk.
"You'll see."
After awhile of driving, the beach came into view. Roxas became excited once Axel stopped the car. He walked over to open the door for Roxas who blushed and stepped out.
Axle then took his hand and walked him around to a secluded area of the beach. Roxas noticed a small table, and flowers, and candy, candles, teddy bears, the works.
The smaller boy gasped in surprise. Eyes wide and shining while they gazed over the display.
"Happy Anniversary, Roxie." Axel said in nearly a whisper, planting a soft kiss on Roxas' lips.
"I-I almost thought you forgot." Roxas stuttered, clearly touched by his boyfriend's effort.
"I could never forget. This day, was the best of my life. This day started my life. And, I love you Rox." Axel said with a soft tone, full of sincerity.
Despite Roxas' uncaring attitude he showed most of the time, he was actually a giant softy. He nearly teared up from the whole thing.
"I love you too, Axel." he said.
Axel smiled brightly, a smile he saved just for Roxas, and with the wave of his hand, fireworks flashed in the sky.
Roxas stared in awe for a second before he and Axel connected in a sweet, passionate kiss as the firewords, red, white, and yellow read:
'AkuRoku Day'
