This is just a little drabble that I wrote. I decided to brake away from my Sonny With A Chance craze, and write this. It takes place during season 2...and that it.

Disclaimer: I do not own anything. Not The Office. And not John Krasinski. Darn.

Pam stared into space at her desk. Jim, like always, watched her. Something wasn't right. He knew it. She wasn't smiling when he said, "Hi" this morning. She didn't laugh when he pulled a prank on Dwight. He had to talk to her.
He looked at the clock on his computer. It was almost break time. They could talk then. But time seemed to past slowly. Pam just wanted to get the hell out of there. Just for a little bit, though. She couldn't talk forever.
The clock read twelve. Pam sighed and walked out side. Jim followed. She noticed this and stopped.

"Jim, why are you following me?" she queried.

He shrugged. "You just seem—I don't know. You're not acting like yourself," he said, worried about his crush.

"Nothing's wrong," she said. But he knew she was lying.

"Come on, Pam. You can tell me. You can tell me anything." He quoted the words she said when Jim couldn't talk the whole day. That was a terrible day.

She shook her head. "I'll tell you outside."

They walked outside into the chilly early spring air. It stung their lungs when they breathed it in. Even though it was bright and sunny out it didn't help the temperature. Pam veered off to her left and took a seat on the concrete bench. She couldn't take it any longer. She let a sob and held her head in her hands.

It felt like someone stabbed Jim in the stomach.

"W-what's the matter?" he asked softly.

She gulped and wiped the tears from her eyes. "I—I think I'm pregnant," she blurted.

Jim thought now that this news was a stab to the stomach. It hurt worse—much worse. He thought about Michael's words on the cruise. Engaged ain't married. But have a baby...there was no chance Jim could ever be with Pam.

"You're—you're pregnant?" he asked, even though he knew full well he heard the words right.

"I'm not entirely sure. It's just that my period is a few days late."

"Maybe you're not." He paused before saying, "Didn't you want kids?"

"Yes, but not this early. And anyway, Roy hates kids. I don't want to tell him. Not yet. And sometimes...sometimes he doesn't seem like he would seem like a good parent or a good husband."

Then way are you having sex with him? Jim thought.

"He's not supportive at all. The only guy that I really trust is you. I would envy any girl that's lucky enough to be your girlfriend or wife or anything."

You're the only girl can I picture being with.

"Well, do you want to go out to lunch—just you and me? Get out of here."

She nodded. "I would like that. I would like that a lot."

"Okay. Come on." Jim started to walk away.

"Wait, Jim."

He turned around. "Yeah?"

She didn't say anything. She just ran up and hugged him tightly.

"You're my best friend, you know that? And you are always there for me, and I can always count on you, and thank you. I love you, Jim," she said.

"I love you too, Pam," he mumbled, hugging her back. More then you will ever know.

It's my first The Office fanfic so give me a break if it's out of character. And review, please! It makes me very happy! :) Thanks!
