"I now give you the name Rosedapple. Protect your Clan with your life."
The newly named Rosedapple lifted her head high as her Clanmates called her name. She was standing proudly next to her sister, Honeywhisker, and her long, freshly groomed ginger coat was shining in the dimming light. The gray spots on her pelt blended in with the shadows. Rosedapple's mother, Lilyspeck, padded up to her.
"I am so proud of you," She meowed, giving both she-cat's a nuzzle on the cheek.
Rosedapple's tail curled up in delight. "I can't wait for the next gathering! I will be able to sit with the warriors!" Rosedapple was very well-known among the Clans.
Honeywhisker flicked her ears. "When do you think we will getting our first apprentices?" She cocked her head, her long, pluming tail swaying low over the ground.
"Not for a while yet." Lilyfrost gave a snort. "You two still act like apprentices. There is no need for you to have one." She joked.
Honeywhisker's face fell, but she shook her head. "Well, it's almost nighttime. We better get ready for the vigil."
"Oh, that's right!" Rosedapple licked her mother's cheek and rushed after her sister, her tail waving in the air. She settled down, her front paws lined neatly in front of her watching the entrance as the dark rolled in.
Please, tell me what you think! This is my first, so I want some feed-back!
