Love Rhyleigh xoxox

Julie Rafter was so tired she was having trouble functioning. She had fallen asleep sometime after eleven, still nursing her infant daughter.

And when she opened her eyes again, Dave was lifting Ruby out of her arms and placing her into the bassinet.

"I was feeding her!" Julie yawned in protest.

Dave was tired, too- but he didn't have to get up to feed their daughter. "You can feed her after you've got some sleep".

"No, it's okay". Julie struggled holding in her yawn- the last thing she needed was to give Dave more ammunition.

"Jules, when was the last time you got more than an hour of sleep at a time?"

That got Julie thinking. "It's been a while", she finally admitted.

"Come on". Dave put his hands gently on his wife's shoulders, guiding her down the dark hallway towards their bedroom. Tossing back the blankets, he pushed her onto the side of the bed that was hers, falling beside her. Julie smiled and wriggled closer to her husband, wrapping her arms around his body.

"No, no, no". Dave pushed her away. "We can do that when you can tell me who the prime minister is without yawning".

"Its Ju-" and Julie was overcome by a yawn halfway through it.

"Exactly. Good night, Jules".

It didn't hurt to try.
