Merry Christmas! (It's hard to believe sometimes that Christmas is fast approaching!) I hope that I wrote Shion correctly and that you love this little story! I hope that it makes your day and surprises you in the best kind of way! (I recently started watching No. 6, and it's unbelievably good! I'm glad that you mentioned it before or I probably would have never watched it before!) I absolutely adored the anime, and I can see why you really enjoy it as well! I hope that you have an amazing rest of the day and an amazing Christmas time! (This year seems to have gone by so fast!) I'm glad that we became friends, and I'm super excited for another year of being friends!
He was strong enough to kill a man.
No, that wasn't the perfect definition for the now white haired boy.
He was passionate and would be strong enough to kill a man if anyone chose to harm those that he loved.
It was the truest form of that phrase and never broke under pressure though an act of murder can leave one as kind and caring as he was reeling.
Shion despite everything was kind; he loved to help others out and tried to pay attention to the things that they needed.
His own life came second if even that to saving another life, so precious.
Shion was not simply weak as it took some kind of hero to sacrifice themself to save another person.
He'd always been willing to help another out regardless of where he resided or what was legal or safe.
Shion after all had helped Nezumi out all that time ago; he'd simply helped a boy his age though it meant so much more to them than just simply helping someone out.
He'd sacrificed his right to a steady home life, his own means to live where he lived, and saved another child's life.
Shion had given up his present in order to help someone recover and as an act of charity unparalleled by the world.
He had never quite fit the role of weak boned pacifist while he'd often avoided violence by a simple desire to help others and save lives, it was not a weak willed task nor did it require minimal effort.
Shion had left that old pacifist stance behind that had never really fit to begin with, to save Nezumi.
Once love finds a way in, one must be willing to protect that love as many will try to take it away.
Protecting any kind of love still manages to come in many forms just as love tends to follow many different forms; it's unique.
Sacrificing his own sense of morality for Nezumi was an act struck on by love and desperation.
Perhaps it opened up a new element of strength previously hidden on Shion's part or perhaps it locked away his old path, but it certainly defined how much he really wanted Nezumi to live and how much he loved him.
Shion had never really fully been weak willed as there was always a strength inside him that could be hidden, could be masked away, but was always there.
He is strong and may be a little oblivious in his own ways, but he will always be a lover not a destroyer nor a full blown warrior.
If he must fight for his love, so be it.
