"Mitch!" Scott yelled from the couch he was happily seated on. When he received no answer he yelled again, louder than the first time "MITCH!" He sighed loudly, rolled his eyes and turned back to stare at a blank TV screen. Where the hell was the remote? He'd already looked and he couldn't find it anywhere.
He tried again "MITCH GRASSI I'M PREGNANT!"
Suddenly Mitch ran into the room looking as shocked and horrified as one would probably be if one's friend announced their pregnancy by means of shouting through closed doors. His expression then changed into mixed confusion and irritation.
"Unless you suddenly developed a set of lady parts I highly doubt that that is possible" he said rolling his eyes. "What was so important that I was summoned with such an absurd lie?"
"First off, ouch. It's not very nice to call someone a liar." Scott feigned offence while Mitch continued to roll his eyes at how dramatic everything had to be with Scott. "And secondly, I can't find the remote and I've quite literally looked everywhere."
"Are you fucking kidding me Scott?" Mitch said, slapping his hand onto his forehead in frustration. He was almost ready to kill him. He had been in the middle of editing Superfruit and he didn't have the time to waste on looking for a stupid TV remote. He looked up at Scott to see him pouting at him, looking completely childish and innocent. Even though he wanted to kill him, he couldn't say no to that stupid face of his. "Did you look in my bedroom?"
"No." Scott replied hesitantly.
"Your bedroom?"
"No…"
"Anywhere that you had to get up from this couch to search?"
"I checked in the fridge."
"Did you check in the fridge for the remote or for food?"
"Uh…"
"For God's sake Scott." Mitch interrupted. If the idiot wasn't going to search for the remote he'd just have to do it himself. "Who was watching TV last?"
"You were watching SpongeBob."
"So it's probably here or in my room… I'll go look in my room." Mitch said, determined to find the damn thing so that he could get back to editing Superfruit.
"You do that." Scott laughed back at him.
"Uh Uh. Help. Look through this room again. I'm not doing this all myself." Mitch yelled at Scott from his room.
"But that's why I called you." Scott replied, whining like a five year old.
"UP! NOW!" Mitch yelled back.
"Finnee."
Mitch was searching frantically through his room to find the damn remote when he heard a voice call out reluctantly from the TV room. "Uh…Mitch…"
"What Scott? I'm trying to find your damn remo…"
"There's no need for that."
"Why…?" Mitch queried, walking slowly out of the room towards the taller man.
"Uh…" Scott replied. "I uh... found it." he said, holding up the remote for the shorter man to see.
Mitch thanked God that Scott wouldn't need him to waste any more of his time "That's great! Where was it?"
"Uh…" Scott said again. "I was uh… Sitting on it?"
Mitch brought his hand back up to his face, groaned and turned around to head back to his room. He loved Scott, he was his best friend, but sometimes he really wanted to kill him.
