Disclaimer: #notmine (this should be a thing)

AN: So, since I really feel like posting something to celebrate getting done with testing, even though I posted something not so long ago (about the same characters, too). I wrote this quite a while ago, June-ish, I think. Apparently I hadn't gotten over the whole Doomsday thing yet. I find the name of that episode so suiting, so I overuse it. Also, I should probably not wait until I'm posting to name my stories and poems. So, two poems: one for Nine and Rose, the other for Ten and Rose. Fluff and angst, have fun!

You run into my old, blue box
Suddenly, I smile again
For the first time in this new, sad life
It's hello, you'll be my friend

Yes, it travels in time as well
I can show you time and space
No longer will we be lonely
I just want a smile on your face

I could go anywhere I wanted
But I needed a hand to hold
The universe is so very vast
But alone, it can get old

Holding hands, we'll save the worlds
Yours and others, too
It's my whole life, traveling
It's just better when I'm with you

Bad Wolf, the words that follow us
About them we'll have to worry
But it's all ahead of us right now
We're not in any hurry

Imagining it is difficult
But I know that you love me
And I really care about you, too
Love? Maybe, we'll see

We'll continue on our merry way
There's just so much to do
I think about you all the time
I'm so glad that I found you

We stand upon this lonely beach
I feel both my hearts die
Because this isn't see you later
This really is goodbye

No, you can't even touch my face
I cannot hold your hand
Now you're left on your own
To walk on just one land

I can still see all of time
But now I'll think of you
And maybe in your future
You'll think about me, too

Maybe you will save this world
As we used to do our own
I guess I'll do what I have been
Just now I'll be alone

Bad Wolf Bay, a fitting place
To see off my best friend
That morning was a normal day
But it was Doomsday in the end

I hear you say it, "I love you"
That's all I need to know
I feel myself begin to fade
And I don't want to go

So I guess I'll just say it now
Because it's so painfully true
I take a breath, here it goes
"Rose Tyler, I-"

AN: Yeah, so the first one is to give you nice feels and the second one is to stab you in the heart (sorry!). I don't know why I love sad stuff so much. I guess it's easier for me to write. I wrote Ten's first, then Nine's to go along with it. Did you see how the stanzas lined up? Also, which poem do you like the most?

Thanks for reading!
