Syndra stood alone in her room, contemplating what she was going to do next. She had already made and ate dinner, and she was exhausted after a long day on the rift. She began to get up from her chair at her table and made her way over to her couch. She thought back to earlier in the year, when she had come to the Institute. Syndra came here for shelter. Although she would never admit it, the Dark Sovereign needed help escaping from the Ionians who constantly pursued her. Perhaps she also came to the Institute because she was lonely and was in need of a frie- no! The Dark Sovereign quickly stopped herself at that line of thought. She didin't need any friends, she had her power and herself, and that was all she needed.

A few knocks on her door interrupted her thinking. She sighed and got up, grumbling about incompetent summoners and how they couldn't just leave her alone. She was surprised when she opened the door, for she saw a fox, not a summoner. She lazily drew in some air and said, "What the hell do you want, fox? Can't you see I'm trying to relax?

"Why don't you let me relax with you Syndra, I'll show you real pleasure!" Ahri replied with a giggle.

Great, just great, a few seconds with the fox and she's already making sexual advances towards me. I'll have to think of a way to get rid of her...

Syndra was surprised by Ahri brushing past her quickly and entering her room.

"Nice place Syndra! Very clean!"

"What are you doing, fox? This is my apartment, get out!

"No Syndra, this is our apartment now, by request of the summoners. We're supposed to get to know each other or something."

Syndra physically recoiled upon hearing this information. She began to think, and the only logical explanation for this was that High Councillor Kolminye thought that the two most feared champions of the league should "bond" to understand their humanity better. Or maybe she made them live together to please those disgusting, thirsty beings that like to call themselves summoners.

Syndra decided to take the peaceful route, and not force Ahri out of her home. She told Ahri, "Fine, you can live here, but don't bring anyone home, and don't trash the place. I take a lot of time to keep this place looking decent."

Ahri responded with another giggle and replied, "Why would I bring anyone home if I have you, Syndra?"

"Fox, I only have one bed, and would like to not have to buy another one. Don't try anything tonight, for your sake and my own."

"Don't worry Syndra, within a week you'll be head over heels for me."

Syndra sighed, tonight was going to be an interesting night.
