The Lonely Wolf
A lonely wolf
He sits and gazes
Upon the sky
Where twilight's fading
Into the darkened
Realms of sleep
Where there alone
The sole wolf weeps
Past love is gone
Tears fall from his eyes
A lonely howl escapes
He's lost his pride
The pack now turns
They know his fate
But all they can do
Is sit and wait
As darkness claims
The broken soul
Of man turned wolf
Who once was whole
The scattered pieces
Of his waning spirit
Drift with the wind
That takes with it
The human boy
Transformation complete
Who has now become
A dreadful beast
