Disclaimer: HA!!! I don't need a disclaimer, cuz for all Joss knows, this is just a regular poem about vampires!!! HA!!! So there =P But I'll say it anyways. I don't own Buffy, Joss Whedon and ME do, along with all the other people fortunate enough to own a piece of it.
AN: A sonnet my English teacher made me write. Not that great, as far as sonnets go, because it's not in 'iambic pentameter' (mimics her English teacher in a very…unflattering way.) HA!!! This coming from a 50 year old teacher that wears see-through shirts…I hate her by the way. Anyways, not really a Buffy poem, but was inspired by the hunt between the Slayer and vampire, only the vampire plays the hunter in this, so I thought I'd post it in the Buffy section.
Fear of EvilI walk, stalking the darkness of the night
Hiding in my abode, I search for her
I hear a noise: dark and scared, she shivers
The chosen one, the one I wish to bite.
Drawn on by her fear, it draws me like light
The blood, I hear it pumping like power
She tries to run, but her courage withers
She screams as if falling from some great height.
Her eyes filled with fear, with loathing, disgust.
The fear of pain, heartbreak, dying so young
It surrounds her, engulfs her in the dark
Her life slips away like wind blowing dust
On the ladder of life, it's the last rung
I smirk a wry smile; my teeth found their mark.
