Insanity
The wind sorcerer had never looked so…insane, thought the younger darkling he controlled. He had adoringly been named Shadow by the hero that pursued them, though his master never called him such. It was the final battle between Vaati and Link, and what do you know? Link won. But in reality it was Vaati who had won don't be confused at this face it's so simple even the hero's shadow understood it well. He had known why.
A cute looking purple Minish played on the swing happily, he was going back and forth all the while with a smile on his face. He was a happy child and liked the play alone more often than not. He felt like the kids his age didn't want to play with him because he had red eyes, but it was fine he had himself and his cat, which he shrunk down to their size to keep him. It was his only friend. The young Minish stopped the swing and frowned to himself as a breeze went past, as if it had said something displeasing. He looked up with the beautiful red eyes to see some kids from school coming towards him. The purple skinned child held onto his beloved friend tightly and greeted them quietly. They sneered at him,
"Aw the little demon wants to be left alone!" one boy had said, the comment at which the wind picked up slightly not enough to notice.
"Demon boy, demon boy, demon boy has demon eyes!" the girl next to the first teased him. The wind picked up more as the purple Minish hung his head.
"I-it's not my fault I look like this…"
"Yes it is! The demon boy is evil he doesn't deserve this!" a third Minish, another boy grabbed to cat from him which hissed in pain when it was held up by its tail. The wind grew to a now noticeable stream of air.
"P-put him down!"
"You're a demon! You don't deserve another creature to love you!" The girl shouted at him and hit the cat with full force of her punches.
"Please stop" the poor Minish pleaded only making the other two hit the animal with their force as well.
"That's not fun anymore" the first boy complained "It stopped moving." The Minish on the swing stood up, the right side of his face covered and the other half shadowed by his hair. "Oh look he's upset!" they all laughed at him and the wind picked up more. None of the three bullies noticed it until it was too late. The purple Minish's hair was flowing with the wind, his one visable eye glowing through his shadowed face. The wind whipped around like a vine and sliced the girl open before she could even scream. Her body laid there, eyes open and now fading into most likely hell. The two boys screamed loudly getting the attention of Minish around them. Now with a few people as audience the purple Minish grabbed the two boys with the wind and picked them up, tossed them around and finally, grabbed their legs and tore their bodies in two. An elderly man with a walking cane yelled out from the formed crowd that was in terror,
"Vaati! What have you done!?"
Vaati smiled again. It was odd that he was smiling at such a time, after being stabbed and cut on his head and stomach. It was a look that would haunt the young hero for his life. His eyes held no shine only dark red that lay still, his mouth in an impossibly twisted smile with fanged teeth clenched together. Blood ran down from his head wound, it stained his lavender hair red. Vaati didn't mind it at all. He smiled like that and fell over, that smile still on his face as the blood of his life drained to the stone of the pathway in the secret garden. Nothing had ever been so sweet. Nothing in his life after all, all he had was his sanity…
That had easily been taken from him.
Vaati never saw the world again as it dimmed down and he fell into the depths of black.
