The room was very quiet, too quiet. The only sounds were of quiet pitter patters of rain leaking from the roof of my dilapidated home. Drip drop Drip drop were the only clear sounds.
I resided in the dark, damp corner of the downstairs living room…waiting…hoping for this nasty storm to end. That wish was not granted, but, another was.

All I wanted was to be alone, not to be left alone, if that makes much sense at all. Yeah, I told my parents to go disappear and leave me be, but, I didn't mean it. I mean, c'mon, I was having a bad day, people tend to.

It all started at school, earlier this day, when I was putting my coat in my locker. All of a sudden, out of complete nowhere, Danny Hollister came up behind me and snapped my bra.
Gah! I was so mad. But, that wasn't the end of it. No, it never is. Then as I'm walking away from my locker, carrying a shit load of books, he has to knock them out of my hands, landing them in a big heap on the floor, at my feet.

"Hahaha, would ya look at Molly Brahnte?

Well isn't this just great? Why can't he just give up and walk away?

'Having a little trouble carrying books, are we?'

My face turned a pale darkened shade of pink, and my hands were balled into fists.

'Hasn't anyone taught you how to carry books?"

That was it...I just completely snapped. I hurled myself at him, and started wailing on him, knocking him to the ground. Once I started I couldn't stop. It was just one punch after another, until his face was covered in blood, and Principal Stevens cut in. And he was roaring.

"That's enough! Get up, Molly. Get up, Danny. And go to my office. Now!"

As we made our way into Principal Steven's office, Danny glared at me. I knew I was in trouble now.

"Now, Ms. Brahnte. Why on earth were you beating up Mr. Hollister, just now?"

I stared at my feet, leaving Mr. Steven's question unanswered.

"Ms. Brahnte? I'm waiting."

I lifted my head and answered.

"Well, I couldn't help it. I was at my locker getting my books, when Danny came up behind me and snapped my bra. Then when I was walking away, he knocked all my books out of my hands. I was angry."

He looked over to Danny.

"Mr. Hollister, is this true?"

Danny looked over at me and smirked, then returned his fake innocent look to Principal Stevens.

"Of course not! I would never do something like that."

And leave it to Principal Stevens to take Danny's side.

"Ms. Brahnte, you are suspended for two days. I advise you to think upon your actions, next time. And let's hope there won't be a next time."

I was furious. I didn't know what to do, so I got up and ran out of the office, out of the school and straight to my house, and didn't come back.
