From then on until Hogwarts, Draco spent his summer with the Weasleys. He never has laughed so hard or smiled so much in his life. He always sat near Harry, because when Harry was near, Draco felt safe. He did get bit by a garden gnome, and of course Harry laughed. "Shut up, Potter!" Malfoy would say as he got the bite looked at. Harry shared his bed with him since there weren't many beds in the house.
Draco would take up most of the bed, and almost all of the sheets, and in their last one cold night together in particular, Draco was hogging most of the sheets,
and Harry, who was getting cold, started fighting over them.

"Share the sheets, Malfoy!" Harry said. "I'm freezing over here!"

"No! I'm cold too!" Draco repiled. Harry looked at Malfoy, and then attempted to pull some of the covers off of him.

"Give it, Malfoy!"

"Make me!" Draco snapped. He looked at Harry dangerously, as if he was going to hurt him. Harry stared at Malfoy, and suddenly pressed his mouth against Draco's, and stole the top layer as they kissed. Harry could see Draco going red, and blushing darkly.

Draco pushed harry to the side, "Okay, Potter. You win." He pouted and turned onto his other side in defeat and exhaustion, and fell asleep.
Harry took his glasses off and placed them to the side and went to sleep. The bed was warm, as both Harry and Draco's body heat, coupled with the blankets, heated them for the night. They both slept soundly as the night went on.

In the morning, Harry woke up first and put his glasses on. He could smell breakfast, and got up. He looked at Malfoy, who was still sound asleep, and smiled to himself. Draco's so cute and peaceful when he sleeps. He didn't want him to miss their last Breakfast together,
so he quietly walked to the other side of the bed, and quickly kissed Malfoy's cheek, and watched him open his eyes and wake up. "Potter, good morning."
was all that Draco could say. He was still tired, but he had enough strength to make it to the table for breakfast. He, as always, sat next to Harry,
began to eat his meal. "So Potter, this will be the last time we'll see each other?" He said, almost glumly.

"No, why don't you stay with me in our compartment?" Harry suggeted.

Malfoy looked at him with surprise and said, "I want to, but what would the other Slytherins say? What would Snape say? That I'm a traitor?"

Harry looked at Draco with a little pity, and said, "Look, I get your position, now this isn't the best idea, but it's all we've got right now.
We'll cover up our secret friendship, with our insults, but we won't fight or hurt one another" he said to Malfoy.

"Yeah, alright. But I can't hang out with you guys though!" Malfoy wailed. He looked down in despair.

"Who said?" Harry asked. He didn't believe Draco could be sad, but here he is, almost in tears, because he can't hang with people he feels the most comfortable and safe with.

"Well... No one, actually, but he other Slytherins would treat me as bad as you.
And my family would disown me, but it's not like they haven't already." Malfoy expalained.

Harry looked at everyone. The all looked back, at a loss for words, and he finally replied, "Why do you hang with those guys? They're suckers!"

Malfoy sniffed, and said, "It was better than being lonely." Tears were coming down his eyes now. "But I still felt lonely even when they were there, and I saw you guys, and I felt even worse."

Harry looked at draco and smiled, "Well, whatever happens, we've got your back, and even if your family disowns you, you've still got your family here, Draco."
