O what yawning the skies do make...
If he had seen what love the stars had said
So many souls in circles take
A former life, turned and shed
And what whispers wax and wane,
For he had seen what many see
Left too much to make him sane
To scream like a wild banshee
In a world so white or black
When the night ere last had been
Dwelt this one far between the crack
Null in this, lay ye man as in when
Over time, wax in the world's sight
Many wings breaking free
Void calls ye to the final fight
But man will refuse to be
The pawn of dark destinies.
If thy love of life sweeter lay,
Challenge the waxing starkness
Despair the Power will say
Give in to the Eternal Darkness.
