"Under the laws of Azure City and in the eyes of the Twelve Gods you are now joined together, forever, in a bond of love. May your lives be blessed from this day forward."

As the newlywed couple turned to smile blissfully at their guests, there was some murmuring in the crowd.

"Thanh looks so handsome, but really, does Koiso have to take his halberd everywhere?"

"Oh hush, how else were we to know who it was Thanh was marrying?" The speaker leaned closer and lowered her voice further. "I didn't even know he had a name."

After the food, and the dancing, and the singing, and more food, the couple finally had a moment alone. Clothes had been discarded and Koiso sat on the edge of the bed, Thanh wrapped around him from behind and nibbling at his ear.

"So," the paladin whispered, "what would that guy with a halberd do?"

In a swift movement Koiso had turned and pushed Thanh back onto the bed with a hand on his chest.

"Well," he replied, smirking "I have some ideas." He leant down and began following the strong line of Thanh's jaw with a series of light kisses, continuing down to his neck, flicking his tongue as he did so to taste the salt on the paladin's skin. Thanh, head tilted back and eyes closed, let out a soft sigh as Koiso's mouth and tongue explored the contours of his throat, hands roaming the rest of his body, as his own hands clung to the soldier's back. An unconscious rocking of hips stroked their lengths together and as their fervour increased Thanh captured Koiso's mouth in a kiss, tongue probing and teasing. Their bodies grew slippery with sweat and, with a final cry, a warm slick bloomed across their stomachs, evidence of their ecstasy. A little later, cleaned up and in that drowsy bubble found just before sleep, Thanh murmured, "That guy with a halberd should really do that more often."

Koiso smiled sleepily and resolved to tell Thanh tomorrow that, that joke got really old really fast. For now he merely nestled more firmly into Thanh's arms and replied "Yes, yes he should."
