Hi everyone! First off - Thanks for reading and reviewing my first story! I'm glad you guys liked it.

I just got home from a concert, and they played this beautiful song called "Dusk". It inspired me to write this story, so I hope it's as good as the song was.

So kick back, relax, and enjoy~

Dusk

The sky over Sunyshore City was lit a bright blue, the sun out of sight. It was peaceful, the waves softly brushed over the sand and there were Pokémon snoring softly in their sleep. A boat was docked in the harbor, patiently awaiting its passengers.

Three figures stood on the pier, their dark silhouettes lit up against the sky. They were sharing one final moment together before they parted to go their own ways.

The first figure was a blue haired girl, her bright blue eyes on the verge of tears. She ran up to one of her friends and embraced them in a hug.

He was taller and older than the other two. He had spiky brown hair and eternally squinted eyes. He comforted the girl. "It's okay, Dawn. I'll miss you too. Take care." He stepped away from the girl, Dawn, and got on the boat.

The third figure stood apart from the others, staring off into the beautiful horizon. He had wild black hair that was barely tamed by his hat. His eyes were a deep brown and had cheeks marked with small Z's. On his shoulder rode a small yellow mouse, yawning as it fell asleep.

Dawn approached him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Ash," she whispered, "I'm going to miss you."

The raved haired boy known as Ash spun around and hugged her tightly, surprising her. "I'll miss you too, Dawn," he whispered into her ear. A single tear rolled down his cheek.

Dawn hugged him back, her blush masked in the darkness. "Thanks… for everything, Ash."

Ash slowly released her and turned back to look to the horizon. "You're… you're welcome," he said softly.

"Will we see each other again?" Dawn asked.

Ash looked up at the stars before answering. "Of course we will." His voice trailed off. "No need to worry." He turned and ran towards the boat, tears rolling steadily down his face.

Dawn ran after him, watching the boat and her secret love leave the harbor. "Wait, Ash!" She reached the end of the pier and stopped. "Ash! I… I love you!"

The sky began to dim and the boat slowly faded into the darkness. Tears began to fall from her eyes. "I love you…" she whispered into the night.

From behind her came a comfortingly familiar voice.

"I love you too, Dawn."

Wow, this looked way longer in my notebook. Oh well.

Anyways, I hope you liked it! Leave me a review with any comments, please!

Also - I'm going to be writing a chapter story soon, so be looking for that near the end of this month. It'll have Pearlshipping and some other pairings, so I hope there'll be a little something for everyone.

Until next time~
