25 ) The swagger of a champion

[ level ]

He struts around like he owns the place, and Silvia can barely hold back the growl of distaste that erupts in her chest at the sight. She hates the peacock pride of his, that feeling of superiority that emanates from him in waves. He is nothing, nothing but a stupid, ugly animal. Wild, out of control and definitely not Apollonius, no matter what everyone else seems to think.

Apollo's pride is an insult to Sirius—he is Apollonius, not that idiot—and therefore to Silvia (and Alisia, but she'd rather not think of that, not right now). So she knocks him down a peg or two. Insults might be cheap, but it feels so good to do it—(better yet is merging, merging with him even, but she doesn't think about that, not now)—and so do the pithy telekinetic attacks that are more accidental than she likes to admit.

"What are you looking at." His pout is annoying, as is his voice. Just looking at him irritates her and it has nothing to do with the fact that her heart jumps at the sight of him because that isn't happening. Just like there isn't a part of her that knows him.

It's no where near that at all.

"Get away from me, you animal," Silvia snaps, her voice dripping venom. Apollo scowls and keeps on his way. He loses a bit of his swagger, not that Silvia notices.

She doesn't want to notice. (He can't be Apollonius.)

Guilt is always jealous.

A/N: Hello! This was originally written 03 - 08 - 09 and is based on the first episodes, before the feather and the little Shadow Angel episode. Silvia/Apollo if you squint. :D I haven't finished the series, so, uhm, no spoilers for the last few episodes, please. xD Also: I've no clue where the last quote came from. At least, I'm pretty sure it's a quote...

Review and let me know what you think, if you liked it/didn't like it and why, though any response is greately appreciated~!
