When Cassandra walked into the annex, nobody looked at her as they said their various greetings. That was the first warning sign.
The second Warning sign was when she noticed Jake was smirking a bit as he looked at an old tapestry.
The final sign was when she notices Ezekiel reading a book such that she couldn't see his face.
"Is something up?"Cassandra asked eventually.
"Well," Ezekiel said, getting up from his chair and dropping the book onto his chair,"Our dear friend Jacob was watching YouTube Videos, and he learned something very interesting."
"What?"she asked cautiously as her tumour started to give her an escape route which lit up before her eyes, along with instructions on when to sprint and what things to knock over to escape.
"Apparently...according to science, laughter can help sure cancer. "the theif said,a malevolent grin on his face.
Oh darn.
"Uh guys I'm already taking like 10 pills a day so..."she said, slowly going backwards.
She heard the doors close behind her and wheeled around to see Jake, standing in the way of the door.
"Uh guys ahaha what are you doing? "she laughed nervously.
" !"Jake yelled as him and ezekiel charged at her and jabbed their fingers into her sides.
She started to laugh as they continued to tickle her.
At the top of the landing,Baird and Jenkins were looking at them.
"I can't tell if I want them to stop or not. "She muttered.
Jenkins just shrugged.
The men continued to tickle her relentlessly as she continued to laugh endlessly, a tear sliding down her cheek.
3 days later...
"Well,Miss Cillian, step away from the MRI, and come look at this. "Doctor Elimo told her as Cassandra got off the bed.
"Based on there pictures,it appears that the tumour's progress seems to have slowed."she said, turning to her and smiling at Cassandra. "At this rate, you will live long enough for us to find a for a medicine is about 75% there,I'll tell you that now. "
Cassandra felt her spirits lift
"But the thing is,"doctor elimo continued, "the medicine we provided isn't supposed to work this you taken any other medicine? "
Cassandra blushed. "Uh..."
A.N.
There is such a thing as laughter therapy that can prevent cancer and etc.
But I don't know for sure if it works on brain tumours.
Hope you enjoyed this!
