"What do you need ink for?" Cloud asked in puzzlement as Aeris handed him the list of supplies the group needed. Aeris shrugged.
"It's not for me, it's for Cait Sith." Cloud turned to the cat who smiled nervously but didn't answer the question. After a moment of everyone staring at him, he finally cracked.
"It's for my pictures," he sighed. The members of Avalanche exchanged glances before Cloud questioned him again.
"What pictures?"
"Pictures of the group," the electronic moogle continued eagerly. "I capture little moments between certain members."
"Little moments?" Cid repeated in disbelief, scoffing slightly as he lit his cigarette. The creature stuck it's tongue out before turning back to Cloud.
"Little cute moments that will cheer everyone up!"
"Cute?" the leader replied, shifting nervously in his seat. Aeris tilted her head to the side as she stood beside him. When she spoke, she didn't seem annoyed or stunned by Cait Sith's admitance. She was just curious about the pictures and asked if the group could see them. He grinned and whipped out a red leather bound notebook and handed it to the flower girl proudly. She flicked through the pages, her eyes wide.
"Wow," was all she could say. Cloud straightened up, looking over her shoulder. He frowned.
"Wait a minute! These are pictures of me and Aeris!" he cried, glaring at the cat, who shrugged and smiled innocently.
"Well, you two act the cutest," he explained lamely. Cloud's cheeks had taken an unusual shade of red and he continued to glare at the cat opposite him. Aeris, however was still staring at the pictures. The page she had open now had Cloud standing in front of her, running a hand through his hair and herself, leaning towards him with her hands clasped behind her back. She smiled despite herself.
"These are really good," she commented. Cloud blinked.
"He's been spying on us in our..." he began but stopped when he saw everyone staring intently at him, eagerly awaiting for him to finish the sentence. He cleared his throat. "In our discussion time."
Aeris giggled slightly and shook her head as she handed the book back to its owner. "Well, I like them. Could you make copies for me?"
"No problem!" Cait Sith replied enthusiastically.
"Cloud, make sure to get lots of ink at the shop!" she said gently, bending and kissing him lightly on the cheek despite everyone being there. There was a stunned silence and then Cait Sith rushing to open his book and try and capture the moment again.
